To implement the aims of the organization, international and national service projects are approved for each 2 years.

In Latvia

The national service project of LCL for 2015 – 2017 is “Tec, Saulīt!” Within the project, we help the State Social Care Centre “Riga” to implement their needs and dreams. Already now, a tactile path has been constructed for the children living in the State Social Care Centre “Riga”. The funding is being raised for implementation of other initiatives.

Within the previous service project “Gift Box for Friends”, we spent time with the girls living in the orphanage “VITA” – baked gingerbread cookies, visited opera, travelled to Cēsis, visited radio “Spin FM” and experienced many beautiful and touching moments in other events.

In 2011 and 2012, we supported children living with their mothers in Iļģuciema prison – we helped to buy mattresses, poufs and other things necessary for their everyday life.

Round Table Latvia is always side by side us.

Internationally

In August this year, a new service project for two years “Little Big Help Girls` Home” led by Danish LC was approved in the LCI conference. The help for children and women in India will be provided within the project.

The International Service Project of LCI of 2013 – 2015 “Children of the Dump” – led by Belgian LC – provided help to children living in Cambodia. Read about the project in English here
